Goals (Bonus Targets)

Track your personal sales targets and bonus objectives with the Goals feature. Monitor your progress toward bonus targets assigned to you by your team.

Accessing Goals

  1. Click Goals in the sidebar navigation
  2. View your current bonus targets and progress
  3. The URL is /home/goals

Understanding Bonus Targets

The Goals page displays bonus targets that have been assigned to you through the bonus_targets_accounts relationship. Each target shows your progress based on sales you've recorded.

Bonus Target Information

Each bonus target card displays:

Zone BonusBadge indicating if this is a zone-specific bonus
Date RangeStart and end date of the target period
Bonus AmountAmount you'll earn if the target is met (in EUR)
Target AmountNumber of sales needed to achieve the bonus

Progress Tracking

Progress is displayed as a dual-layer progress bar:

Confirmed Sales (Primary color)

Sales that have been confirmed and trigger commission. These count toward your final target.

Proposed Sales (Blue)

Sales in initial/proposed state. These are pending confirmation but show potential progress.

Progress Display

The progress section shows:

  • Percentage - How close you are to the target
  • Confirmed count - Number of confirmed sales
  • Proposed count - Number of proposed sales
  • Remaining - How many more sales needed to reach the target

A sparkle emoji appears when you reach 100% of the target.

Zone Bonuses

Some bonus targets are zone-specific, indicated by a "Zone Bonus" badge with a map pin icon. These targets only count sales made within specific geographic zones assigned to you.

Date Periods

Bonus targets have defined time periods:

  • Start Date - When the target period begins
  • End Date - Deadline for achieving the target

Only active targets (where end date is today or in the future) are displayed.

Empty State

If you have no active bonus targets assigned, you'll see a message: "No active bonus targets"

This means either:

  • You haven't been assigned to any bonus targets
  • All your assigned targets have expired (past their end date)

Contact your team administrator to be assigned to bonus targets.

How Sales Count Toward Targets

Sales contribute to bonus targets based on their sale state:

  1. Confirmed Sales - Sales where the sale state has triggers_commission = true
  2. Proposed Sales - Sales where the sale state has is_initial = true

The specific sale states are configured by your team administrator.

Target Configuration

Bonus targets are created and configured by team administrators. As a user, you can:

  • View your assigned targets
  • Track your progress
  • See your sales count toward each target

You cannot create, edit, or delete bonus targets from the personal Goals page.

Tips for Achieving Goals

  1. Check progress regularly - Monitor your progress on the Goals page
  2. Understand the timeline - Know when targets start and end
  3. Focus on confirmation - Ensure sales get confirmed to count fully
  4. Know your zones - For zone bonuses, focus on the correct areas
